This photograph was taken at Newcastle upon Tyne Green Festival 2006. It is an engaging portrait of the harpist but the singer standing alongside is a distraction—and that microphone has to go!

The singer was removed first then the microphone stand was painstakingly edited out by hand.

A diffusing filter was finally applied to soften the image.
