Two photographs were taken from the base of Admiral Lord Collingwood’s memorial at Tynemouth, looking north to the priory and castle.

As these were taken with a digital camera, no scanning was needed. Each photograph was adjusted for perspective and lens effects; the two were then merged together to form a single composite image.
